Chef Marco & Rhonda Lakip-Ochoa just wanted to give back to the community and be able to make a difference in other people lives. They decided to build this amazing and breath taking garden during a time that help them regain their focus for life while they were still grieving the loss of Marco's mother from cancer in January 2004 & Rhonda's mother from breast cancer in October 2009.

Here they found comfort not only by working with Mother Nature & Mother Earth, but also from the whispers of the wind of their mothers voices. With their mother's help they had transform this ordinary outdoor yard into a beautiful and romantic outdoor retreat that is normally only seen in exotic warm places in different countries.

A Healing Garden opened its doors October 27, 2011 and continues to expand and grow.

 "We are just ordinary everyday people wanting to put a smile on people faces. To see people just hypnotize at the beauty and exquisiteness of our garden it really makes all the hard work rewarding. By combining Chef’s love for creating masterpieces with food and with my love in helping people by massage it all just seems to fit into this very special place - A Healing Garden.”
